Use of Loot Policy
Discussion is welcome on this topic, for now this is how we are going to do loot in the following 25 man raids:
  • Naxxaramas
  • Malygos
  • Obsidian Sanctum

When a boss is downed, the loot master will link each piece of loot one at a time, in the order that they are listed. If you are interested in the piece, type /roll to show that you would like the loot.

Loot Distribution
Once all who are interested have rolled, priority will be determined by both the member's rank and EPGP standing. In the common event of a guild rank tie, EPGP priority will determine who receives loot.

For the purpose of loot, guild rank will be considered in the following order:
Guildmaster/Officer/Class Leader/Raider > Recruit > Social > Alt > Inactive

If there are no raid members who want the item for their main spec, then the same procedure will be followed for off-spec rolls.

All items that the raid shows no interest in will be disenchanted and the resulting mats sent to the guild bank.

[Note]: You may be disqualified for a piece of loot (at the officers' discretion) if that piece is determined to be inappropriate for your class/main spec.

EPGP
This section explains how EPGP will be used in loot distribution, for a guide on EPGP in general, check out the EPGP guide.

EPGP is only used for 25-man raids.
Everyone starts with 300GP, you cannot decay below this amount.
EP and GP decay 7% per scheduled 25 man raid.
Off-Spec loot credits only 30% of the item's GP value.

Rewards
50EP for showing up, and being in raid 15 minutes before start, awarded to everyone that wants to go on the raid and shows up, even if you don't actually get in.
50EP when the raid starts
50EP recurring for every hour of the raid/waiting list.

PuG Loot Policy
PuGs will always have a chance at loot.

If a piece of loot drops that a PuG is interested in, all interested raid members will /roll to show interest, as per usual. If the PuG out-rolls all guild members for the item, the PuG will receive that item. If a PuG does not out-roll all interested guild members in the raid, then the guild's standard loot policy will determine the item's distribution.

[NOTE]: All PuGs are eligible for a single piece of loot per raid. (Unless the item would otherwise be disenchanted.)
